Cloverhill Golf Club - Great To Get Golf

Members were glad to get back out on the course on Sunday morning after a prolonged absence due to the snow. Although play was delayed until after 11 because of the frost there was a good gathering for the sweep which was held between the participants and a well fought out 12 hole competition followed with some good scoring. Indeed it took a count back to separate the winner Stephen Markey (14) from Sean Conroy (18) after both had finished with 30 points to edge out long time clubhouse leader Seamus McParland who had 29 back in third with some 13 more players on the 28 point mark.

The Winter league fourth round will take place over the coming week and with scores so close it will be vital that all team members get their cards in. Week five of the league will commence on Mon 3rd Jan.

The Open Christmas Scramble to be held in the club on Monday Dec 27. The four person Scramble at £40 per team will have a shotgun start at 10-30 am.
