Cloverhill Golf Club - Christmas Golf

The seasonal weather is playing havoc for those wanting to golf but we will have to wait until the fairways are clear to get back into the swing of things. With Christmas round the corner there was plenty of activity in the club with people calling to get membership vouchers as Xmas presents. No doubt there will be many new pieces of golfing equipment unwrapped as presents also and what better way to try them out then by participating in the Open Christmas Scramble to be held in the club on Monday Dec 27. The four person Scramble at £40 per team will have a shotgun start at 10-30 am. Anyone wishing to help outgoing Captain Charlie's chosen charity Newry Hospice by putting in a team can contact Charlie 30 861806 or the clubhouse at 30 889374/889580 to book a slot. Should the weather interfere with this date the event will take place on Sunday Jan 2 with the same start time.
