Cloverhill Golf Club - Sean Moan Takes the Turkey

It was a pleasant Sunday morning that greeted the golfers for the third week of the Christmas 12 hole competition following a week of more rain. The way the results have been going for the three weeks Paddy Malone and Mark Keogh will be able to set up a stall selling their goods as they both feature in the prizes for the third week in succession .Despite being cut for their previous two placings the rich vein of form that both Paddy and Mark continues as they filled the minor placings behind Sean Moan. Sean notched his first singles win with 29 points for the twelve holes , two more than Paddy managed with Mark back in third spot. The Seniors will hope to get back in action on Thursday to continue their Winter league competition after missing out last week.
There should be plenty to report next week as the Annual General Meeting took place on Monday 23.
Chelsea, Man Utd and Tottenham did the business for 5 participants left for the in the fundraising last man standing competition. The 5 will have another go next week. There will be a new competition starting on Dec 5 so all members are asked to get their entries and those of their fellow participants in early.
