Building a Great Game Together: Our Commitment to Junior Golf
Welcome to the new season at Cloverhill! As we head out onto the fairways, our primary goal isn’t just to develop great swings, but to foster a community where every young golfer feels safe, respected, and inspired.
To ensure Cloverhill remains a premier environment for development and fun, we require all junior members and their families to review, sign, and return our core safeguarding and conduct documents. These aren’t just “paperwork”—they are the foundation of our club’s culture.
It is important that both parents and Junior members are aware of and understand the below codes. Documents are require to be signed and returned to the club
1. Junior Code of Conduct
For the Players: This is your guide to being a “class act” on and off the course. It covers the essentials of sportsmanship, respect for fellow competitors, and care for the course itself.
- Why it matters: Golf is a game of integrity. By signing this, you’re promising to represent Cloverhill with pride and treat everyone with the same respect you’d like to receive.

For the Families: Parents are the biggest influence on a young athlete’s experience. This document outlines the importance of positive encouragement and letting the coaches lead the sessions.
- Why it matters: We want our sidelines to be sources of support, not pressure. Your commitment helps us keep the focus on the children’s enjoyment and long-term growth.

4. Anti-Bullying Policy and Guidance
For Everyone: Cloverhill has a zero-tolerance policy regarding bullying in any form—physical, verbal, or digital. This document provides clear definitions of bullying and the steps we take to address it.
- Why it matters: No one can play their best if they don’t feel safe. This policy ensures that every junior golfer knows they are protected and that their voice will be heard.
Next Steps: Sign & Return
To help us hit the ground running, please ensure all four documents are signed and returned to the Cloverhill Office or your Junior Coordinator (Ruairí O’Neill) before the next scheduled session.
Note: Participation in club matches, casual golf and organized coaching sessions is contingent upon the return of these signed forms.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us make Cloverhill the best place to play, learn, and grow!
